Celebrating 30 Years of the World Wide Web: A Signal Solutions Tribute

It’s been an incredible 30 years since Sir Tim Berners-Lee generously released the World Wide Web into the public domain, and we couldn’t be more chuffed about it! As co-founder of Signal Solutions, I’m thrilled to take a moment to reflect on this groundbreaking invention and how it has impacted our core mission of enhancing mobile signal throughout the UK.

Let’s reminisce for a moment … it’s 1993, and Sir Tim Berners-Lee, a British computer scientist, has just launched the first-ever website, hosted on a NeXT computer at CERN. The World Wide Web was born, and our lives would never be the same again. In the blink of an eye, we went from landlines and bulky computers to smartphones and a fully connected world.

Fast forward to today, and we’re living in a digital age where we can hardly imagine life without the Internet. Thanks to Sir Tim’s innovative vision, we now have endless information, services, and entertainment at our fingertips. And as the web evolved, so did the need for better connectivity and signal quality.
