Introducing Stewart Morris; The Fastest Member of Team Signal!

We’re a tight-knit bunch at Signal Solutions. So, when someone new joins the team, we do some pretty intense vetting … introducing Stewart Morris of Signal Solutions!

As you know from our previous intro with Chris, our Head of Engineering, it’s a pretty stern test.

Well, we ask them what their three favourite films are, anyway.

And we’re delighted to introduce Stewart Morris; Signal Solutions latest engineer.

We asked Stewart a few questions about himself so we could all get to know him a bit better, and we’ve decided he seems alright – so he’ll be a part of the team for a little while longer.

So, Stewart, welcome aboard! Let’s get things started by finding out what your day looks like?

Most days you can find me on-site, assisting with surveys and the installation of our fantastic product (we didn’t bribe him to say that, but he has earned some brownie points). I also have the odd office day to catch up on emails and get some of the admin work done – which is a necessary evil.

What’s your favourite film?

I took a LONG time to decide, and Saving Private Ryan is a pretty close second, but I’d have to say Rush.

Tell us a bit about your background?

I was born in Southampton, and I spent the first 25 years of my life there… UNTIL I met my wife and moved to Camberley.

I’ve spent most of my life working in the motor trade, but I’m ready for a new challenge.

What are your 3 favourite books?

Now, I have to confess – I’m not a reader.

The one book I’ve read cover to cover outside of GCSE English lessons is Jenson Button’s autobiography.

What about a favourite quote?

Anything Alan Partridge!

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Basically, ANYTHING motorsport…

Karting has been a passion of mine since I was young, but I haven’t done as much of it as I’d like recently. My dad has always been massively into powerboat racing, so I’d have to say that too.

Otherwise, I love watching anything motorsport, including F1, WRC, BTCC – you get my drift.

Spending time with my family is my absolute favourite thing to do – and other than that, it’s golf and football (I’m a big Chelsea fan).

Tell us one interesting thing people might not know about you?

I met my wife in a queue at Thorpe Park!
